Strabismus

Strabismus is a condition in which the eyes are not aligned, preventing them to focus on the same point in space. This can adversely affect depth perception. It can be caused either by the brain sending incorrect signals or by relevant muscular malfunction. Treatment varies depending of the severity of each case; it can range from vision therapy, eye glasses to surgery.
