Post-Concussion Syndrome

Post-concussion syndrome is a set of symptoms that one can experience in the wake of a concussion (a mild brain trauma). The symptoms persist for sometimes years after the initial trauma. Symptoms vary and can include headache, difficulty concentrating, irritable mood. There is no treatment for PCS, most of the symptoms resolve themselves. It is not known why the symptoms last as long as the can.
