Perforated Eardrum

A perforated eardrum occurs when are eardrum has one or many holes in it. It can be caused by many things including infection, trauma, explosion or loud noise. It can cause hearing loss. Generally perforated ear drums hear on their own, in other cases healing patches can be affixed or surgery is carried out.
