Keratitis

Keratitis is a serious condition in which the eye's cornea becomes inflamed. Common symptoms include sharp pain and blurred vision. There are numerous causes of the disease, one of the most common being past or present herpes infection. Additionally, there are a host of bacterial, viral and fungal agents which can lead to keratitis. There are a wide variety of treatments which each correspond to the particular cause of the condition.
