Astigmatism

An astigmatism is a type of eye defect which causes blurry vision. It is caused by an irregularly shaped cornea or lens. Both types of astigmatisms are correctable though refractive surgery, glasses or contact lenses. They are generally caused by genetic inheritance, but injuries or certain types of surgeries can induce them as well.
